This can leave the remaining days of December seeming like somewhat of a wash, but there is still viable time to use in reflection and laying foundation for what is next.

Thoughts about delicious treats and lavish meal gatherings are plentiful this time of year, it is the holiday season after all. Shortly after Halloween, where you may get lots of candy treats from the kids (or maybe more adult ones), it may be easy to abandon many of the healthy nutrition strategies or diet plans you have been practicing. With some simple strategies, it doesn’t have to be this way!
Strength Training is (and as) Physical Therapy
At Resilient Body, we believe that strength training and physical therapy can actually be synonymous. Yes- that’s right! Injury prevention too? Also, yes! It does not need to be that one comes before the other in either prehab (bulletproofing) or rehab (recovering) scenarios and this is an important unification that is often not presented or understood. Afterall, isn’t all strength development functional?
